Introduction

Ganasangeet - The Mass Songs of Awakening Protest. It has been a long time that I have been searching for a collection of such type of songs in the web world. Somehow I managed to find a very few of them out there. But none of the sites were sufficient to satisfy the actual needs. So the necessity to launch a site, with a handful collection of 'Ganasangeet' was felt. This just marked the beginning of this blog. Hope it will strengthen the arms of People's Democratic Revolution and IPTA Movement in one hand and I expect it to put an end to the frantic search for 'Ganasangeet' on the other. But however the efforts to enrich this blog will still be continuing.

    Had no idea that this existed. Your initiative is so praiseworthy that it hardly needs any mention. Those who have been searching for these on the net are going to be greatly benefitted by such a rich collection. As to speak of my feelings, I'm just overwhelmed; it's as if I found the key to the fabled treasure trove. Anyway, THANK YOU very much. But for this great undertaking which must have cost you strenuous days and nights we would still have been left in the lurch, when the need is to re-infuse ourselves with the finest offshoot of the movement of the toiling classes. Thank you again.

    সত্যি, আপনাকে সাধুবাদ না জানিয়ে পারা যায়না। বিশাল সম্ভারের এক অনবদ্য সংকলন। আমি এখনো পুরোটা দেখে পারিনি। আশা করছি এপার বাংলা ওপার বাংলা,দুই বাংলারই সংগীত পাবো। নব বসন্তের পলাশ রাঙা বিপ্লবী শুভেচ্ছা রইল।
